Is the packaging recycling?

Our 6 packs are fully recyclable. The window is PET and is to be torn out and placed in your plastic recycling while the box itself is FSC rated cardboard and goes in your paper recycling. 

What is your minimum order size?

Our Min order is:

2 dozen per cafe

4 boxes of 6 packs

How should they be stored?

The crumpets should be stored in a well sealed tub. During the winter months, they will last up to five days in room temperature without getting mouldy. In the summer months, and especially in humidity they should be stored in the refrigerator overnight to avoid mould development. 

How can they be served?

Sweet or savoury, our crumpets are perfect for both. Many cafes present them simply in their cake cabinet and offer them toasted with basic toppings like jam, curd, peanut butter, honey, Nutella ect. Others offer an extravagant breakfast meal loaded with caramelised banana, toffee sauce and peanuts ect.

I want the curds & butter in bigger jars?

Yes, for cafes & restaurants we prefer you to order the bigger jars & tubs, you save $$ & we save the environment.

Can they be frozen?

We believe our product is best consumed from fresh, however, we understand that some venues may need to occasionally freeze their crumpets.

This is acceptable as long as they are in a well sealed container. They should be defrosted in small amounts and toasted to order.

I want to be the only cafe in my area?

This depends on quantities being ordered, but generally speaking, we do not offer exclusivity on our products, we feel our crumpets generate a lot of creativity in chefs and are versatile enough to be unique on any menu.
